Report Finds No Need for Damaging Williams Transco NESE Pipeline Across Raritan Bay

Eastern Environmental Law Center today released an expert report by Synapse Energy Economics showing that Williams/Transco’s proposed Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) pipeline project, which would transport fracked natural gas through New Jersey from the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania to energy markets in New York City, is completely unneeded.
