LEADING POLITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP STATEMENT ON GOVERNOR MURPHY’S 2021 STATE OF THE STATE ADDRESS
TRENTON – The following statement is from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, regarding Governor Murphy’s 2021 State of the State Address.
“In the recent State of the State address Governor Murphy committed to continuing to build a stronger and more resilient post-pandemic economy by expanding good local green jobs in environmental restoration, toxic site remediation, drinking water infrastructure and emerging industries like offshore wind,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director New Jersey LCV. “We’re especially excited about the Governor’s goal to convene stakeholders, including those in environmental justice communities and labor, to create a robust and equitable workforce strategy. We’re looking forward to working with Governor Murphy and his administration on this bold agenda to make the green jobs recovery a reality.”
