Assemblyman Ronald Dancer

Ronald Dancer was first elected to the Assembly in 2002. He first served as the representative of District 30 from 2002 to 2012 and now represents Legislative District 12. Assemblyman Dancer also serves as the Deputy Republican Leader.

Prior to retirement, Assemblyman Dancer worked as an interviewer for the Ocean County Adjuster’s office. He also served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971, and previously served as the Mayor of Plumsted from 1990 to 2011. 

Assemblyman Dancer sits on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, the Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee, as well as the Tourism, Gaming, and the Arts Committee.
