THE CONFIRMATION OF COMMISSIONER CATHERINE MCCABE
TRENTON, NJ—Ed Potosnak, Executive Director of New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, released the following statement on the Senate Judiciary’s bipartisan approval of Catherine McCabe for the position of Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, confirmed by full vote during today's Senate legislative session:
"We are thrilled to see environmental leader, Commissioner Catherine McCabe, officially leading the Department of Environmental Protection. She has an outstanding record of holding polluters accountable and using science-based evidence to guide her decision-making, and we know she will continue fighting for cleaner air, protecting clean drinking water, and preserving open spaces for the families and businesses of New Jersey. We congratulate Commissioner McCabe on her confirmation today."
