New Jersey League of Conservation Voters calls on Congress to pass climate plan in wake of Biden N.J. visit  for Hurricane Ida Flooding

New Jersey League of Conservation Voters Executive Director Ed Potosnak issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s visit to New Jersey today to tour communities impacted by Hurricane Ida:

“We’re pleased President Biden has been able to come to New Jersey to see firsthand the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida. As climate change is causing these storms to occur more and more frequently, it is essential that out congressional delegation back President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, which will help curb carbon pollution and provide resources to states to protect communities from similar severe weather events in the future.”
