NEW JERSEY LCV CONGRATULATES SENATOR BROWN ON NEW ROLE WITH MURPHY ADMINISTRATION

TRENTON – The following statement is from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, regarding Senator Chris Brown leaving the New Jersey Legislature to join the Murphy Administration as an advisor on issues related to Atlantic City.

“Throughout his time in the legislature Senator Brown has been an environmental champion. New Jersey LCV recognized his record of strong support with our Emerald Award. We highlighted his leadership on several New Jersey LCV legislative priorities like catalyzing good-local union jobs in wind and solar made possible by the Clean Energy Act, electrifying our public transportation system, and setting strong goals to reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 80%,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey LCV. “We are looking forward to working with Senator Brown to help improve the lives of all New Jerseyans —especially those in Atlantic City— by bringing family-sustaining, union jobs from our offshore wind industry.”
