New Jersey LCV applauds Atlantic City approval to advance major offshore wind project
TRENTON - New Jersey League of Conservation Executive Director Ed Potosnak issued the following statement on the Atlantic City Council’s decision to approve a Green Acres diversion for offshore wind development.
“We applaud the Atlantic City Council for approving a Green Acres diversion for offshore wind development. The decision is one more step in our effort to ensure New Jersey achieves its clean energy goals. Local officials have confidence in offshore wind development and are working to make sure Atlantic City residents will live in a safer, healthier environment for generations to come. The council heard from members of the public as well as the detailed plans of offshore wind developers, and reached the best possible conclusion for the future of their community.”
