Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli
Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli was appointed to serve as an Assemblyman for the 15th District in 2018, representing municipalities including Trenton, Hopewell, and West Amwell.
Assemblyman Verrelli became a carpenter and active union member, eventually becoming President of Carpenters Local Union 254. He was elected to the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 2016 and then joined the Assembly in 2018.
Some of the top issues in his focus include enhancing mental health/addiction services, expanding economic justice, and restoring aging infrastructure. Assemblyman Verrelli backs a progressive agenda that stands up for pay-equity in the workplace, strong wage protections, affordable health benefits, and increased access to paid family and sick leave policies. He also opposes the PennEast Pipeline. While in the General Assembly, Assemblyman Verrelli has supported bills that finance green infrastructure and stormwater management.
Assemblyman Verrelli currently serves on the Health and Senior Services and Labor committees.
