Caren Fitzpatrick
Commissioner Caren Fitzpatrick is running for election to the New Jersey State Assembly representing District 2, which covers municipalities such as Atlantic City, Egg Harbor, and Somers Point. She is a lifelong resident of Atlantic County, having spent years living in Pleasantville, Somers Point and Linwood.
Commissioner Fitzpatrick first ran for Atlantic County Commissioner in 2017 because county government officials were openly dismissive and critical of women. In her role as Commissioner, she has fought passionately for equal opportunities for the residents of a very diverse Atlantic County and has been a big proponent in moving the county in a green direction, including initiating electric vehicles for county employees. Not only will Caren bring her commitment to the success of Atlantic City to the whole district, she will be a passionate advocate for equitable school funding formulas, increased infrastructure investments to attract development and create good paying jobs, and making living more affordable for New Jerseyans.
We are proud to endorse Caren Fitzpatrick for her Assembly race in the 2nd District and we urge you to vote for Caren on November 2nd.
