Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin

Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin has represented New Jersey’s 18th District since 2013, which includes municipalities in Middlesex County, including South Plainfield, Metuchen, and Edison. 

Assemblywoman Pinkin runs Pinkin Associates, Inc., a healthcare and association management consulting firm and has an extensive background in healthcare administration, with an expertise in ambulatory care and medical practice management. She is also the Executive Director of the Middlesex and Mercer County Medical Societies. 

As an environmental champion in our state, Assemblywoman Pinkin was primary sponsor of the landmark Clean Renewable Energy Bill, which catalyzed our nation’s leading offshore wind program, mandated aggressive annual energy efficiency targets, and expanded access to clean energy through a community solar pilot program. She was also primary sponsor of the Clean Stormwater and Flood Reduction Act.

Assemblywoman Pinkin is Chair of the Environment and Solid Waste Committee and Vice-Chair of the Health and Senior Services Committee, amongst others. She has served as Deputy Speaker Pro-Tempore since 2018.
